Hannah & Luke met on holiday in Kavos, Greece in July 2015 & despite living over 250 miles apart they continued their relationship once they got home with Luke moving to Wales in January 2016 so they could be together. Baby Michael arrived in December 2017 & in June 2020 Luke proposed whilst walking at the National Trust Devils Dyke in Brighton.  With Martha completing the family in February 2023 their thoughts then turned to organising their wedding.

Knowing that they wanted to recreate the feeling of when they first met Hannah & Luke started looking for locations & venues abroad. Having enjoyed family holidays in Turkey they narrowed the search & found the Paloma Perissia Hotel via Tui Holidays. Wanting to ensure it was the perfect venue for them they booked a family holiday for May 2024.  Meeting the staff & also a couple who were revisiting to celebrate their first anniversary, having been married there, they were confident that this was the place for them to tie the knot.

Back in the UK, it was on the way to book the wedding that Hannah drove past Together Forever in Crayford & a dress in their window caught her eye.   Up to now all thoughts had been focussed on the location so Hannah hadn’t even thought about her dress but was persuaded by her future Mother in Law to call & book an appointment.  Having explained to Sara at Together Forever that she was visiting family for a few days an appointment was made for that Saturday & Hannah excitedly looked on their social media for inspiration, sending some images of dresses that she liked especially the sparkly ones!

Hannah tried on 5 dresses during the appointment, including the dress that had originally caught her eye & Sara was fantastic, reading her body language with every dress and suggesting alternatives that closely matched Hannah’s preferences.  Sara suggested trying on one more dress & whilst Hannah loved the detailing it wasn’t what she wanted at all; strapless, nude panelling on the sides with pink tones.  Trusting Sara, Hannah tried it on & fell in love but still felt it wasn’t quite right. Working together they made some design changes including adding straps and extra lining that, having worked with us for many years, Sara knew we would be able to accommodate.  Hannah was due to travel back to Wales the next day & Sara suggested that she think about it & try some dresses on closer to home before she made a final decision.

Having had a sleepless night thinking about the dress along with the changes that we could make Hannah regretted not ordering the day before & early on Sunday morning messaged Sara to say that she wanted to say “yes to the dress”!  Thankfully, Sara was able to open the shop on Sunday so Hannah could meet with her, try on the dress once more & place her order before returning home.  As soon as she put the dress on again Hannah knew that this was the one for her!

Having made some design alterations at ordering & then using the alteration service at Together Forever Hannah was nervous in case the dress didn’t match her vision but it was absolutely perfect & she adored it, feeling like a princess on the day itself.

The photographer provided a drone as part of the package which added some beautiful aerial footage & took them both down to the Pier where there was time to dance, sing, enjoy the sunset and just be together as a married couple. 

“Having met on holiday 10 years previously this was the perfect way to say “I do”.  I knew the moment I met Luke that I would marry him & even had a tattoo with his initial on the first night there!  I still have the tattoo along with the man that I love and two gorgeous children.  We have come so far from that holiday in Kavos but are right where we are meant to be. It’s been a true love story”.
